JAMB 2016 Registration Form: Complete Guidelines

The Prof. Dibu Ojerinde led Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released information on sale of JAMB 2016 Registration Form for candidates seeking admission into Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and other degree awarding institutions in Nigeria by 2016/17 academic session.
Dr Fabian Benjamin, who is currently JAMB’s Information Officer disclosed this in Lagos while responding to a press interview on August 25th. Fabian expressed the Board’s readiness to start accepting application for next year’s Computer Based JAMB UTME.
It was gathered that the decision of the board to make the form available now is to prepare candidates early for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to the latest news from JAMB regarding the 2016/17 UTME registrations, scratch card for online registration will be on sale starting from August 31st in Banks, Accredited Centers and JAMB offices nationwide. Cost of the forms and detailed guidelines for all online filling of forms will be released alongside.
”The registration fee for the UTME is N5,000 and candidates are also to pay N500 to obtain the textbook, The Last Days at Forcados High School’.
Prospective candidates are advised to ensure they obtained the application forms early as well as fill their personal data correctly to avoid any mix-up.
The deadline for sales of form is January 15, 2016. While the registration website will close January 19th, 2016.
The 2016 UTME examination is expected to begin Feb.29 and end on March 14, 2016.
Note: The UTME will be 100% Computer Based Test (CBT).
